I love the patterns achived in tie dying, looking forward to seeing this piece,
your comment about the ties looking like people, there was a british artist in the 1980's Claire Johnson who made people quilts just like this they are really fun small quilts, I have not heard what she is doing for some years now,

the squiggly worms are demanding to be touched! would love to see how the fabric comes out when untied.
